Women's Health Announcements

Women's Health in a washroom near you

Women's Health's A4 poster Are your period concerns making you see red? can now be found in female public bathrooms at shopping centres. There are display points at 14 venues across South-East Queensland. The posters are also supported by take-home wallet cards. Both the poster and wallet card are part of our Period Concerns Campaign.

Washroom media advertising was chosen due to the specific nature of the topic, period concerns, and because it provides access to a female-only target audience.

Women's Health in a waiting room near you

Women's Health's A3 poster, Are your period concerns making you see red? can now be found in approximately 360 multi-doctor practices in metropolitan Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich and the Gold Coast. The poster is part of our Period Concerns Campaign.

Women's Health receives funding from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF)

Women's Health was successful in receiving funding from the 59th round of GCBF grants, announced in February 2009. Women's Health will use the funding to redesign and reprint an updated version of our booklet on antenatal and postnatal depression. Many thanks to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund for ensuring this valuable resource continues to be available for the women of Queensland. The new version of the booklet will be available in June.
